Every three minutes in the UK, someone dies without the care they need

That’s why Morrisons has rebranded its handcrafted Coburg Cob as the Cob for Care this August, helping raise vital funds for Marie Curie as part of Every Pack Gives Back. Baked fresh daily by Morrisons Market Street bakers, Cob for Care comes with a bright Marie Curie yellow label, with 25p from every Cob helping fund expert end of life care and support for people and their families. What will our partnership fund?

Starting November 2024, the funds we raise during our national charity partnership will:
Enhance Marie Curie Hospices, to create a legacy of hospices fit for the future.
Provide more nurses to deliver expert hospice care at home, so people can stay surrounded by their loved ones and community.
Help make moments that matter, so people at the end of life can create precious memories with loved ones.

Jacqui's story

When Jacqui, a retired social worker for people with dementia, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Kelly and her other daughters helped get her to the Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford. "I don't want my family feeling anxious and scared, it's a terrible feeling because I feel like I've caused that stress for them. The hospice staff have taken that pressure off my family and taken it on themselves. If I can't go home, I have no problem staying here now. They're fabulous. Second-to-none."

Help us improve end of life care in local communities

It’s only with your support that we can continue to be there for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them.
