How we write
We work with people with lived experience of terminal illness – whether they have a diagnosis or are a carer, family member or friend – at every step. They tell us what we should be writing about, what works, and what doesn't.
We also work with subject matter experts, like health and social care professionals. They check that our evidence and information is accurate and relevant, as well as telling us what they hear from patients.
If you’d like the list of the evidence used to create any of our information, please email review@mariecurie.org.uk.
Want to help us improve?
We're always looking for volunteers to help us improve our information. Our Voices volunteer opportunity is home-based, flexible based on the time you can give, and doesn't need any specific work or academic background. If you have experience of terminal illness or bereavement, we'd love to hear from you.
