Research Grants Scheme: improving the hospital experience for people at the end of life
This Marie Curie Research Grants Scheme focuses on improving the quality of care and discharge processes in hospitals for people with palliative and end of life care needs. This grant call is now closed for applications.
From time to time we also put out targeted calls to commission specific research projects that help support ongoing activity at the charity, such as policy and campaigns activity.
Our Research Impact Fund provides support for well-planned, high-quality, targeted activities that will facilitate the uptake of existing palliative and end of life care research into practice or policy to benefit people affected by dying, death and bereavement.The fund is currently closed to applications.
Research Grants Scheme: improving end of life experience for people with dementia
Marie Curie and Alzheimer's Society have come together to make available £1,000,000 for new research that can improve the end of life experience for people with any form of dementia, and for those who care for and support them.This call for research is now closed. Applicants will be notified of final outcomes in March 2025.
